In Low Pressure Injection Molding, a powder - oxides, carbides, nitrides, metal etc. - is blended with paraffin at 80-90°C to form a low viscosity mix.

This mix is pressed into a mold at low pressures,The powder-paraffin mix cooles rapidly and can be removed from the mold shortly thereafter.
