Rotary
tube furnace for 1300°C
Rotary tube furnaces are very versatile for continuous
operation. The example in the picture shows a rotary
tube furnace for a maximum temperature of 1300°C.
The heated length is 750 mm. The tube diameter is
180 mm. Other tube diameters and heated lengths are
also available. The rotation of the tube can be changed
continuously between 1 and 30 rpm. The tube can be
tilted up to 10°. The bearings system used allows
precise control of the rotating tube. Above 1300°C
ceramic tubes are used.

Rotary Tube Furnace for 1600
°C
This rotary tube furnace can be operated up to 1600
°C under inert gas atmosphere. The ceramic tube has
an inner diameter of 80 mm and a total length of 1600
mm. In spite of the inert gas atmosphere, the product
can be introduced and discharged continually through
suitable ports. The vacuum pump supplied can be used
to purge the system with inert gas before beginning
operation. The ceramic tube can be tilted continuously.
In order to simplify changing the ceramic tube the whole
assembly including the tube suspension can be removed
without dismantling the furnace itself. Tube inner diameters
between 60 and 130 mm and tube total lengths from 500
to 2000 mm are available. |
