Furnace for Waste Water Treatment TOC/TN-measurements)
The TOC-value (Total Organic Carbon) is a clear indication of
the total organic load of waste water. All environmentally relevant
forms of nitrogen are added together in the parameter Total
Nitrogen (TN). The furnace shown here was developed together
with a manufacturer of such analytical systems. lt is small
enough to fit into a mobile cabinet. The furnace is designed
to operate constantly at high temperatures. The maximum furnace
temperature is 1000 °C.

Calibration furnace up
to 1700 °C
This furnace concept is for the high temperature calibration
thermocouples. 5 thermocouples can be calibrated simultaneously.
The heated length is divided into 5 heating zones that can be
regulated separately. All zones are regulated by DC power supplies.
The furnace casing is water cooled in order to prevent heat
dissipation.

Combination of a High Temperature
Special Furnace up to 1700 °C
with Tube Furnaces up to 1200 °C
The picture shows a high temperature box furnace for 1700 °C.
Two tube furnaces for 1200 °C are installed on one side of the
box furnace. This combination of three different furnaces is
used to investigate highly corrosive materials in the glass
industry. The bottom drives up and down electromechanically
and can be rotated simultaneously at predefined speeds. Through
an opening in the roof of the box furnace and with the help
of a lifting and turning mechanism specimens can be transferred
between the three furnaces. All three furnaces can be regulated
separately. The status and fault reports are shown on a common
alphanumeric text display.
